A small personal update – in addition to heading back to the world of work after maternity leave (and all the lunchtime delights of the city!) I’m pleased to be taking on a role supporting the Coeliac UK Local Voluntary Group for Berkshire.
As Berkshire is such a huuugggee area, I will focus on building a community in East Berkshire (Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Ascot…). We have set up a facebook page to connect people in the area to share advice, experience and recommendations about where and what to eat. If you are in the area, please join in and keep an eye out for future events.

Hi All :D
I just got diagnosed (age 26) after about 6 months of feeling like a walking zombie and having every test under the sun come back as normal. It was such a relief to know I have a condition I can do something about just with diet! I have created a blog in which I’ve listed the most helpful websites I’ve found for someone newly diagnosed, and also a list of places it is safe to eat and reviews of “free-from” food. Please visit :)

I’ll definitely be checking out the facebook page.
